First, I helped many of you realize how excellent is.

Next up is a fantastic thick but protein rich and fat free yogurt:

and finally, for this edition, and with no discernible order to my selection I give you:

I didn't have high hopes for this but it's a quite funny romp similar to Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The middle character (Sam) there is a likeable, slightly bumbling, college age kid without any college or future aspirations. Life takes a left turn when he finds out he's Satan's bounty hunter per a deal his parents made before he was born. Sock, on the left, provides the hilarity and Andy on the right is the love interest who doesn't get to know Sam's secret and thinks he simply is not entirely interested in her.
Will take your word on the gin; will try the yogurt on your recommendation; and yes, Reaper is great!! Everyone should watch it!
Aww you can forget those sorority nightmares of mixers with the Phi Delts. This isn't that gin.

Next time you are out at a fancy pants bar get your beau to order it (ensure it is Hendricks, tonic, and a cucumber slice) and give it a sip.
Rice didn't allow sororities, gooses. I'm thinking more of the "G.I. Gin" cough syrup the Army doctors fed me as a child. *shudders to the extreme*

The BF likes girly drinks--sweet stuff with Frangelico and Amaretto and such. I'm more of a tequila, stout (EDIT: beer, not me!) type. But for you, I will try it. Once.
I sweat beer.....

So... actor on the left I do believe to be Tyler Labine, a Canadian actor (yippee!) who I know well from many many reruns of Breaker High, a Canadian (I'm pretty sure) show about a highschool on a cruise ship (someone tell me how you get that gig?!?) that travels all around the world while the teenagers go about their usual teenage antics. It aired 1997-1998. (And no, I am not a total geek... I had wikipedia to help hehe)

Tyler played the character of Jimmy who was a total goof who was best friends with Sean...played by another fellow Canadian: Ryan Gosling (and was the show where I fell in love with him...even though he looked like a dork and played one on the show lol)

Here is a clip of that priceless show: (And its from an airing on YTV! Yay YTV! Childhood memories... hehe)

Agreed that Hendrick's Gin is one of the best gins available. Haven't seen the yoghurt or the movie.

I stumbled across the yogurt at a "Whole Foods". It's from Iceland I guess. Reaper is a TV show you can catch on the "CW" station.

I hated that show SO MUCH. Time to find YTV stuff for the geeky Canada thread!

Wait... Ryan Gosling? Is that who I think it is? Rich kid from Burlington that everyone was jealous of?

*snip*

Magellan Gin is also excellent, if you are fortunate enough to be able to find it. If you like Hendrick's Gin you will probably like Magellan as well. It has a lot of aromatics in it and has a lovely sky blue color.
The only time I have ever had it was at The Cloister at Sea Island Georgia - and, yes, someone else was paying.

Bothard .... you so ROCK. I will make this my sole goal for the month- to locate said product and give it a whirl. Now is this served with the traditional lime or is it a cucumber like Hendricks?
Bothard! I got it. I had to have the store order it but it came in today. You fill it with rocks, 3/4 of Magellan and then a "splash" of tonic with a lemon. Wow. Usually I have more tonic then gin.

Tonight, I'm wearing the lampshade.

I'm sorta off-WoW for other fandom work, but I WILL log onto Vent to hear this.

It's interesting to note that some marketing theories support the idea that fads come and go in 20 year cycles.

Also note that New Kids on The Block are reuniting.

Both make good fuel for large bonfires.

<swoon> A 12 year old Kittenine was their biggest fan! Better them than Hammer pants, imo. Those were FAR worse.

Extreme Goodness?

That would be episodes of the greatest car show ever, Top Gear, now available on BBC America.

As to Gin, i've partial to good old Blue Saphire but i'll be sure to try the ones listed above
